Jumbo, Large Jumbo, Super Jumbo and Ultra Jumbo Mortgages

Luxury Mortgage group is a direct lender for jumbo mortgages over $417,000.  While the true definitions are not yet standardized, we are shaping the industry by utilizing the following naming convention:

'Jumbo Loans' range from $417,000 to $650,000.

'Large Jumbo' range from $650,000 to $1M.

'Super Jumbo Loans' range from $1M to $10M.

'Ultra Jumbo Loans' range from $10M to $50M.

The following loan programs are available for high rise condos, condo-hotel units (condotels) and luxury homes. 

Higher dollar mortgages (such as ultra jumbo) are not available from traditional lenders.  These types of loans must instead be sold to investors that expect an incentive to purchase these mortgages in the secondary marketplace. Super and Ultra jumbo mortgages make up less than 3% of all mortgages. As such, you need an experienced luxury lender to fund your loan. You need a lender that originates considerable jumbo volume to pass on the volume incentives that the secondary market provides.
