Shanda Sumpter

With an abundance of experience in building and creating successful business alliances in the Southern Nevada market, Shanda Sumpter has carved a niche for herself as a premier player in high and mid-rise developments. 

As senior vice president of Investor Relations at Coldwell Banker Premier Realty (CBPR) in Las Vegas, Sumpter is responsible for recruiting, attracting and securing new business partners within her division.  When a partnership is forged between a prospective developer and CBPR, Sumpter works as the liaison between the two and then assumes responsibility for maintaining the relationships needed to bring the project to fruition.

In just the first year of this new division, Sumpter has become the international liaison between foreign investor groups and the developers that she services.  Spending a great deal of time in Europe and other foreign markets, Sumpter has brought hundreds of investors to Las Vegas to showcase the opportunities in the market.  She is a specialist in assembling bulk buy purchases from 20 to 200 units.  This benefits developers in many ways, including hitting their presale requirements a lot sooner then if they sold them on the open market.

Originally from Canada, Sumpter quickly and seamlessly adapted to living in Las Vegas.  While managing companies in other industries, she felt compelled to further her knowledge in real estate investing and eventually gravitated toward high and mid-rise development.    She formalized her education at the Russ Whitney Academy. 

Sumpter is very active in the community.  She volunteers as a big sister in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program and also is involved in the Candle Lighters program, doing arts and crafts with cancer stricken children.  She has also been involved with various projects at Opportunity Village.
